so, i guess i'm not as anonymous as i thought. if any of my students are reading this... go work on your five paragraph essay or your vocab or something. mr. gloyd had a fun weekend. he went to monterey and saw the following: sharks, jellyfish, hippies, otters, seals, and fishies.
students, if you're reading this, you're going to learn (though i would like you to never write a paper using all lower case letters).
here is a third person omniscient recap of my weekend...
mr. gloyd left his beautiful school in quaint east los angeles tired and hungry. he was a little low on money, so he decided to make a sandwich at home and save the spicy good smells of sweet carnitas for another afternoon. upon ariving home, his wife hit him with a rolling pin and called him silly names for no good reason. he was in a bind, so he gathered all of his strength and placed a banana peel in her path. she noticed the banana peel and turned into a gargoyle, thwarting his plan (and their weekend).
"i be shinatar, queen of moldar!" she said.
"i don't care who you are," he said, waving a finger with a hand on his hip. "you gonna' git in the car this instant, and we are gonna' go to monterey!"
okay, i'm going to quit writing this now. i need some sleep. it's past my bedtime (and yours).
back to not internet blog teaching academy... i'm in a band. sometimes i like the things we do. sometimes i do not. i am in the middle of not liking things right now. thusly, i shall go and write some wicked dialogue for my major motion picture i'm working on. kids, go google something more interesting than your teacher.
actually, i will go read john dos passos write wicked cool things that are old timey. kids, read something good. it'll change your life.
