concert time!

matt inspired me. i've saved most of my concert tickets- presumably for this moment. and because i'm ocd.

first concert:
ray charles at the ventura theater. i was eight or so. to me he was the "you got the right one baby" guy. i fell asleep during the opening comedian. and woke up during hit the road jack.

middle school:
ray stevens, jim stafford (both fantastic country novelty geniuses), and the same christian bands matt saw mostly because of hume lake and not by choice. i would've seen more concerts i assume, but the tv toons artists rarely toured.

high school and beyond (in no particular order):
bob dylan was the first. other dylan shows (dylan and willie @ the el rey, dylan and phil lesh, dylan and merle haggard, dylan solo in bakersfield, dylan with asleep at the wheel in bakersfield, dylan and paul simon @ the hollywood bowl)
