i'm watching falling down. it rules the roost. i took jack to chuck e cheese's tonight in eagle rock. he wasn't able to get out much because of the rain. i then went to the weird asain market and bought a bunch of noodles to make some time.

i am also planning on going to the world series.

i bought a bunch of really good jazz records the other day too: sonn rollins' the bridge, charlie parker's best of the complete savoy & dial studio recordings, dexter gordon's go, oscar peterson- night train (hymn to freedom be my fave), lester young with the oscar peterson trio, side by side- johnny hodges and duke ellington.

they all make me smile. that is all. how are you doing?

i'm fine, thank you. we've been listening to jazz all of the sudden which makes me feel weird. i really love it. so does micah. this happened to us around the same time. our birthdays are 10 days apart (same year, 1978) which may have something to do with it. i dunno. i can't believe you didn't know there was a whole foods in glendale. what are you, dumb or something? they had the eggless egg salad, which i enjoyed but can't find out here because everyone is so obsessed with cheesesteaks. i hope we move soon. -emily mcgraw
